Many basement waterproofing systems on the market today only solve part of the problem. But when you notice water in your basement or see discolored basement walls, there are many ways water could be entering your home.

An experienced and licensed professional is needed to come to your residence and inspect your basement and the surrounding area to determine how water is entering. When you need a trusted company, turn to BDry, an authority on basement waterproofing since 1958.

Over our many years of experience in the industry, we’ve learned that there are numerous ways water can enter a basement. That’s why we use a system that properly protects against the five most common ways ground water can enter a basement:

  • Through wall cracks and mortar joints
  • Through wall dampness
  • Up through floor cracks
  • Over the foundation’s footing
  • Under the foundation’s footing

Unlike other basement waterproofing systems, the BDry system is proven effective at keeping basements dry, utilizing a combination of high-quality materials to combat water intrusion. While installations of our proprietary system vary based upon requirements to address the specific causes of water entering the basement, we may install maintenance-free rigid or flex wall sealer, a drainage channel, a discharge pipe, a high-capacity sump pump, and a pump with backup battery power.

And, customers who turn to BDry for a basement waterproofing solution receive additional peace of mind knowing that our system is protected by one of the industry’s leading warranties.

BDry Basement Waterproofing System

Your Basement Waterproofing Solution

Our basement waterproofing system is designed to address the five most common ways ground water enters your basement or crawlspace.

As a water table rises and the french drain that the builder installed inevitably fails, the water builds up and travels over the footing and under the footing, directly into the BDry high capacity pipe.

Water that enters through cracks in the wall will travel through the weep holes and enter the BDry pipe. This water seepage is directed by the BDry wall membrane also into the BDry pipe.

After the BDry waterproofing channels are installed, the floor is re-cemented. As it dries, it blends in with the original floor. Our bright-white rigid wall panels keep our system air-tight to prevent radon and odors from rising up into your living space. The panels can be finished over.

The BDry System Installation Process

To Install the BDry Basement Waterproofing System a portion of the floor slab is carefully and temporarily removed. A trench is created to slope toward a drainage point. Weep holes are then drilled into the core of the concrete blocks in order to drain them constantly. Our BDry waterproofing membrane called Rigid Sealer is placed on the interior wall. Our high-capacity BDry pipe is installed in the trench next to the footing.

The concrete floor is then restored. Once this concrete dries, any floor covering can be installed on top of your floor slab. However, as the basement is a harsher environment than the upstairs, we would recommend choosing water resistant products such as tile.

While the installation of the BDry Waterproofing System may take longer to install than other methods, this process results in a longer lasting solution to keep your basement or crawlspace dry. This unique installation process and the materials used in our installation process address the five most common ways ground water enters your basement or crawlspace and gives you lasting peace of mind to use the space as you please.

BDry Sump Pumps

A sump pump is a mechanical device used to remove water from your basement or crawlspace drainage channels. The channels are installed in a manner to drain water into the sump pump liner or basin. The pump then pumps the water out of your basement or crawlspace and away from your house.
